questionabout airfoils and rudders

was just looking at pictures on jdotson sight and seen on one of his photos of rear side shot he was running 3 rudders and an airfoil was currious how much difference the extra rudder made and if the airfoil made a big difference inthe way your boat preformed since i am also running a 16 ft alumitech. thankyou in advance to anyone that can shed some light on this question; thanks.copperhead
 
The triple rudders are a big difference versus two rudders. The stick is more sensitive and does not require as much movement to steer the boat. The stick doesn't have as much resistance with three rudders either and has been quoted as being like "power steering". I like the setup but there are some people that have driven my boat and didn't like the way it felt.

I did not put the airfoil on the new cage this past weekend and I may not put it back on. I haven't run without it since I've converted to reduction drive but on a direct drive application I couldn't tell the difference. I'll know more once I run it this week.
