Ok i would apperacite ya'll opions on this since the airboat run a auto engine just like my mud boat.
the hull will be 16' long the transom the flat bottom is upposed to be 48" the top of the transom is 84" has three bends (chimes) in the sides. I have the 8' wide sheet of .125 but just can't get the sides to 23" deep. the hull is basicly like a airboat hull wide stren and narrow bow. I am starting of with a6 cyl cadillac motor but may upgrade to a 8 cyl later (money premitting) the engine forawadest point is 8" form the transom .
Problem is I can get the 48" flat bottom and the three chimes rounding the sides but my over all deepth is just 18" question is with the weight is that deep enough? :?:
