Questions about Freedom Craft and frog spit

Ok,Couple of question for everybody.I am looking at a 14x8 Freedom Craft.2008 model.Is it a good boat.Also it has frog spit on bottom.How long does it normally last and when poly is added later how is poly fastened to a fiberglass boat.The boat is used and it would be my first airboat.Thanks,Bob

excellant hulls .poly is screwed on or bolted both work equaly well ,I prefer the screwed on for fiberglass.

the freedom craft is a good heavy built hull, i looked at them hard but settled for another due to time. i would not screw i would bolt the poly on. my new boat was screwed but after hitting a rock it pulled and shifted a good portion of the screws. they have now been replace with bolts. just my .02 cents.
