Quick 220 GPU case question

time to continue my education when splitting a GPU case and I have taken out all the top and bottom bolts around the sides the gear end splits open but the prop end does not release is there something I am missing before I loss my temper and tare up something?

You must bring the case apart equally. If you have one end open already the opposite end will not open. This can sometimes be a real pain in the ASS! Try hitting with a plastic mallet to help split the stuck end. Bring the opposite end closed before you try it.

I tried a rubber mallet but I have one end open I will try later to close it back and open it more evenly, thanks

Try putting some small thin wood blocks (paint sticks work), equally spaced from the prop end, between the case halves.
Then try to press the end you have open back together. The wood makes a fulcrum that might do it for you, and the wood won't damage the cases.

I'm guessing that the only thing hanging you up is some old sealant. olf
