Hey guys I build R/C airboats and they are a blast to play around with, I'm also the President of the M.AB.A organization modelairboat.com
The organization mostly copies some of the things that are done with full size airboats, ground running, racing(oval and drag tracks) or just out playing around. If you are interested in seeing some of the rc boats photo gallery
If anyone is interested in helping us out, we are needing more information on the types of racing that is done with the full size boats. Also if you have pics of full size race airboats could you post them, I would like to expand on the different styles of boats that I build.

We all at NFMABA had a good time racing with you last weekend in Ocala Fl. at Tuscawilla Park. We will have our next race in the fall at Gainesville or Ocala. See you in LA. in Aug. at the next race.

This video 65.5mph rc airboat is what could be the fastest around....rc airboat that is.
 
Not all that for from you. hwy 90 east bond just outside of Jeanerette. There is a pond about 1/4 mile from Landry's truck Stop. We may be outhere Sunday, I'm needing some practice. At the last race/meet in Fl. my GF took a 1st and I took a 3rd, and she is not letting slide, rubs it in every chance she gets. It sucks to get beat by a girl....LOL.

I may even have a extra boat that you could try. I should be there this week end, I have mods done to a engine and I want to make sure that I did not destroy this one...LOL
 
Airboating Magazine has a artical about our last race in Fl. In the July/Aug issue. The Guys and Gals of Airboating Magazine work very hard to get information on and about Airboats, rights, events, new laws and much more useful information. They are very down to earth and very much worth checking out.
 
R/C Airboats are great. I use to have a boat called an S.S. Sidewinder I bought it at Graves Hobbies in Orlando , sold it , now i would like to get another one but they dont carry them anymore. . Does anyone know where to gert one of these or something close.
