Rain Relief

Looks like some folks are getting a little relief from the dry conditions in the inland areas. Lake O seems to have gotten some much needed rainfall in the surrounding areas. Still wish it would make its way a little more NW of where it has been falling the last two afternoons.

Certainly woulod't mind an early wet season, just keep them naders away, both Tor and Ralph. None of them 'canes neither.

If it don't rain soon I'm going back to watering the yard daily just to keep it alive. I have an investment in this place and I can't afford to be ordinanced into financial difficulty by resodding or reseeding the yard. Gotta keep it alive someway.

Bring on the rains !

I'd like to see a comparison of water releases from managed control structures versus rainfall and water restrictions. I have a feeling there just might be a conflict there. Water was officially declared an enemy to the state of Florida at one time....too bad the powers that be didn't realize it was a double edged sword at the time the decisions were made to control it.

That lack of foresight by elected officials is what "I" think makes a case to jail them for culpable negligence. There is NO REASON whatsoever they shouldn't have known better.

I jumped on this in another thread too.
