Ok newbie questions forming. I got a 15x8 diamondback. I was thinking of putting a rake on it. What are the pro's and con's to these? Can I get a bolt on one or does it need or is it better to weld on? The main purpose for mine would be to knock down the spray over the bow and possibly mount a trolling motor on would this help spray any? Also would it effect my trailer set up any? or the bow eye would I have to move it or anything? Thanks in advance for help. As a lot of you know I'm new to the airboating world and haven't figured much more out then how to drive and dock them somewhat safely.

you can order one from diamondback that just bolts on thats how mine is mounted get one with the step on it its good for fishing and docking . it angles up so it should go over your trailor winch. the best way to learn how to dock its put a float or any stationary object in the middle of the river (where you wont hit anything) and practice pulling up to it wind and current will be your biggest factor
Yes croc I think the 2' would suit me a lot better. I really didn't want that big of one. I don't know if I will like it or not so l would like to spend less money and then if I don't like it then I can still sell it. I got to do that and then I'm gonna build a deck from the foot control to the cage.
