Ralph Hedgecoth Memorial FAA Lobbiest Fund

Ralph Hedgecoth, founder of Citrus County Airboat Alliance and founding Vice President of Florida Airboat Association succombed to a long term illness a few weeks back. He will be dearly missed. Anyone who runs an airboat in Florida owes much to Ralph.

At the recent FAA meeting held at Cypress Lake Fish Camp, it was determined that an individual donation memorial lobbiest fund for FAA professional political representation would be started in honor of Ralph Hedgecoth's unending efforts to protect the priviledge of airboat operation throughout Florida.

The first three donors at $100.00 each were Bob Hoover, Danny Brantley and Dave Markett.

All individual airboaters are welcomed to join this club. Please make your check payable to FAA and send your donations to:

I understand there will also be an annual Hedgecoth Service Award presented to a Florida airboater who has been recognized for service to airboating in the previous year.
Please post the details about that as soon as it has been worked out.
