I'll tell you what,
If I could get that QC mgr in front of me, who sub contracted the work for the gift my Mom bought my son, I'd beat him silly.......some jackass over in China put the impellor on backwards. Imagine that. Been messing with it for the past 3 hrs....Besides that, what's up with all the twist ties on all the presents?
 
you ever tried to unwrap a full set of Thomas the train twist ties in a box?Dem Sumabitches are wound soo tight, and set for little fingers to untwist them..
 
My son got a very nice set of gloves, for two left hands. :D

Quality ? whats that? My brother bought another Artic Cat 3 wks ago , and they have replace the entire mach 3 times. Motor, electrical and brakes. He's fixin to go postal it this one has a problem.

We're all responsible in one way or another. We can't get enough worthless crap. We strive to make more money to buy more stuff. And we all shop around to save a buck so we can buy MORE stuff. More stuff, more stuff, more stuff..Cheaper to buy more stuff, then we can't get enough stuff, so we want it even cheaper. We turn real estate over, invest and sell things that aren't real, and aren't willing to work cheap enough to manufacture any of this crap we have to have...So next thing ya know all our "stuff" is made in China, and all the people that had legitimate high quality products are years since gone,

Sorry about the rant, but take it from someone who has double the parts cost of a crate motor manufacturer and expected to sell em for the same price even when offering a superior product. I guess I kinda feel like a quality mason pissed about Mexicans takin all his work. Like I said...It's all our fault. We wanna get paid more, but don't wanna pay sh!t. I'm guilty too, and as they say...Live by the sword.......

BTW at WalMart I bought a $10 skateboard for one of the boys as a gag gift for Christmas since he wanted a baddass board. The nice one I paid almost $150 for (The REAL present). By the eye to an uneducated person, the boards look the same..........Difference is...The high $ board is what it is and it's performance even in my old eyes is obvious. BUUUT...$10 vs $150??? Yeah I'll pay the $150 cus the price is right...Just not Chinese rediculous cheap, and he'd rather have ONE real board than 15 pieces of sh!t. But I'm guilty of sendin more money their way cuz of the gag gift...Ahhhh screw it..Let the next generation sort it out! LOL

well im not gonna rant , but we have sold are soul s in america, there are very few craftmen left in the usa im waiting for some large country that still knows how to make things to wake up an realize we are more vunerable than we have ever been in this country , we export are raw material every where in the world and buy back the stuff the crap they build, im not the smatest guy around but you dont have to be a genious that we would be in serious do do if russia or china or both jumped us right know :evil:

The Arctic Cat story made me think about what my Son went through a couple weeks ago. Bought a brand new one only to start it up and then in 10 minutes catch on fire. The guy that ran the winch cable laid it across the exhaust and when the exhaust got hot the cable insulation melted and then the cable shorted and got real hot. Nice little fire working on a brand new ATV. These things cost more than my trucks use to. lol
