Here is a chance for everyone to have input for what they would like to see happen on the ride for Bud.
Right now the plan would be to ride on Saturday 12-29-07 with Bud Marquis.
The plan would be to meet up a a time to be determined, and ride the the flight 401 crash site for a visit. This day will be the 35th anniversary of the crash.
Another ride on Sunday 12-30-07 may be possible, and will leave from the AAOF club facility located on the Tamiami trail. This ride will be into the glades, South of US 41, and guided by dome of Buds friends from the AAOF.
This is the main plan.
Overnight camping spots for r/v's or primitive campers has been offered by the AAOF at their facility. Also, cooking facillities are available for the group, or individuals who would like to prepare food after the return from the Ride on Sunday.
Very nice lodging accomodations are available a short distance away, at the Miccosukee Resort and Casino. Both would be very short distance to travel to both rides.
I was asked to post this info, for people to comment on, or vote for what they would like this ride to be. Hope I got the facts, and the plan correct here. If not, y'all let me know.
Everyone who is interested in Riding with Bud, please Vote above for your preference.
We need to know how many people will attend, or utilize the AAOF facility.
Post your comments, and recommendations also, and we will see what develops here, as we plan to Ride with Bud on this speacial day.
