Need to remove 1 of the magnetos to have it fixed, is there anything i should mark or is there anything that will fall out when i remove the mag, Engine is a io520 cont, also how would i ck the coil to see if it is bad. Thanks for any help

Futura, rotate your motor until you see the red tooth in the sight hole on top of the mag... then unblot it and take it out, be sure not to move the prop or motor to get it out of line. put it back in the same way, from there it depends on what its doing? no fire, weak fire, ect as to what needs to be done if you have never done this before be carefull and watch how you are taking it apart so you put it back togeather right . I fixed one last weekon an 0540 that had weak fire not enough to jump the gap on the plugs and didnt have to take it out just cleaned the points and it had some crud behind the distrbutor cap clean them and sparked fine... maybe you'll get so lucky

I agree with Tide Runner, check to see if you have bad spark or any at all. You can change the condensor and points inside the top of the mag without removing the mag. I have seen the lead wire on the condensor break off a couple of time and nothing else was wrong. If your P-lead (kill switch wire) is not secured and gets moved around alot, this is more likely to happen.
