I am developing a list of airboaters who would like to volunteer their time and airboats for the evacuation of flood victims in the wake of Hurricane Charlie on the Florida west coast.
Charlie is now a category 4 hurricane (145 mph winds) with an expected storm surge of 15-20 feet in the Tampa area accompanied by associated rainfall.
If evacuation assistance is needed it will happen fast and a reliable list of volunteers is needed. If you would like to volunteer your time and airboat please email me your contact phone number and email address at:
