In Lake Port(Moore Haven) Saturday night my mother had something stolen from our cabin. New tenants have moved in across the lane and had a party. Some of the party goers welcomed themselves to some personnel
property that has sentimental value to my mother

It is a 1963 Banks Maxwell prop that came off the airboat my father built in the same year. I'll give $100 for any info leading to recovery of that prop. It's useless for anything, but it means so much. Any info please P.M. me.

I realize how fruitless this gonna be. But this is just about as low as you can get.
They also stole the name off the palm tree too.

DBL how about posting what lane this was on. It is a small community and I am there every weekday so there may be more information available to solving this senseless act.

My mom is pretty upset of course. Anytime something like this happens it sucks. But my mom is alone over there and she's worried now.

That does suck, big time. Get her a shot gun and show her how to use it with just primered shells so she don't get scared of it. Then load ti right and tell her it'll just hurt them. I did that with my mom and she wasn't scared to tote it to the door at night. I never did tell her it would kill-em. I figured if she needed to hurt them she might as well do it right. That sucks. Sorry to hear about that. Man, I'm only 19 but I wish it could be like the old days you guys always talk about and the books I read about.
 
Nothing like a crook...i'll be in town this weekend and we'll put the word out for a wanted prop!!If some low life comes out of the woods with a product to sell us, rest assured well take him to hipkochee for a TEST ride with that new rrop.
 
dblj006, I think I am two streets down from you in Lakeport.(can tell from the pic) Last week we had 2 batteries a gas canfull of gas and a few other small things stolen Trouble started when new people moved into the trailer right on the loop road. You know, the one where cars come and go all night long. Also seen the police there almost daily. Tie everything down till we catchem
 
dblj006, I have an old Banks Maxwell that looks just like that one if you want it as a replacement. The one I have is 66 inches by 36. I know it doesn't have the same sentimental value as the one stolen. You can see a picture of it in my gallery.

yeah man. There are two kinds of people livin there now. People that want to be there and people hiding from the law. It's a shame a place like that turning into a
hoodbecause it is nice there. I know they have run at least one dealer out of town over there.

My mom filed a report with the police. I'll call and tell her about your theft too. My bro and I are headed over there this weekend just to check things out.
