I took red dwarf through the marsh on saturday. We went from the bus all the way to eat at Camp Cypress. And there was about to gallon of water on the way there. His boat ran great . to have to slick bottom at all. We ran dry the whole time and he was right behind us. That's one badass DD car motor boat. That's right it's that badass prop on there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we have to do it again. That's just the way we ride all dry all day

Red Dwarf, That must be one heck of a direct drive car motor, with just the right prop configuration, to run dry that far with no slick bottom! The first airboat I ever owned was a dd car motor, and it would get stuck in the middle of the lake if I even looked at the shoreline!

Yup, sounds like Red's got that one workin real nice, and he built it himself too. 8)

I tried running from Hatchineha to Cypress via the Dead River. I made it about 100 yards on the dead grass before I felt that old familiar slow down. Rather than push, pull and throw down the PVC pipe, I turned around and went through the canal. To make matters worse, I stopped on the outside trail around Cypress and got stuck in 3 or 4 inches of water!

I can guarantee you the next boat I buy will be able to do what you guys did.

Went took a good little ride, never went on kississimee. Road through reedy creek and cooked out at the pavilion for airboaters. GREAT TIMES!

Sounds like you tried taking the trail closer to B.S. Hill instead of Dead River. That trail is DRY!!!! The river itself is ok but one spot has a pretty nasty snag that will jack up a hull if you don't see it.

Hey thanks for the compliments.

I sure enjoyed the ride. I've never done anything like it before. My hosts were damn fine company. I hope we get to ride together again.

And yes, I love my badass prop!

I have rode with that boat and it dose run very well he left me stuck on the hill one night and drove right up past me it dose have a very good combo for a dd I wish my dd ran that good and i could have saved alot of money

CC, you weren't really stuck! I think I just got lucky and picked a better line.

I think your boat runs great and real quiet. Money well-spent IMO
