I was just up in the area for the first time this past weekend. I did not have my boat, but have heard for years about the riding up there. After seeing it, I'd love to go up there and ride sometime. Where would be a good place to put in and get started. Also a suggestion on where to stay. Thanks in advance for any info.

Riding in Citrus Co

There are 3 pools out in Citrus county.... the Hernando pool.... the Inverness pool... and the Floral city pool ..... it would bea lot to see it all in one trip. All 3 connect for an Airboat via Airboat jumps.... Hernando has a ramp just off Highway 200/ 41 split .. Behind the Ace Hardware ... this is the easiest of the 3 pools to explore.... Inverness has a good ramp off highway 44 on Lake Henderson.... Floral city has a ramp but it’s more secluded out there and a lot easier to get lost .. It’s beautiful out here .....Just don’t tell anyone!

Launch in Hernando behind the Ace Hardware and head straight out into the pool or have one of the guys from Citrus County meet you there is a whole bunch that would love to take you out there take some burgers cookout at the swimming hole definitely a nice place to start and a great group of people all around in that area
