OK folks, we're all set up here. Here's the address for mailing your contributions:

Robert Marquis Fund
PO Box 2492
Orange Park, FL 32067-2492

If you would like to contribute to this fund using PayPal, the link to that is Robert Marquis Fund.
If anyone has a problem donating with this method, please contact me immediately and I'll try to get the problem worked out.

Please give me a return address when you send by mail and I'll drop you a postcard to tell you that your gift was received.
If you're using PayPal, you should receive an electronic verification.

This is an ultimate Airboaters helping Airboaters gesture and no matter where you live we need to help and honor this gentleman.

Your contributions will be deposited in a small account set up just for this purpose, and I will keep the best records I know how to
ensure to all of you that every penny of this fund is accounted for.

Here's a challenge, share the story with your employer and ask him or her to match your donation. Good work Olf.

Thanks, y'all. The cost of the PO Box and the postage for the postcards will be a part of my contribution, and our little account at the credit union is service free, so 100% of every dime received will be given to Mr. Marquis.

Ken,

Good work as always!

What kind of payments? Check, Money Order, Etc?

Can you ask the credit union if they got somewhere to store frawg-legs?
I'll bet Mr. Marquis still eats them!

DAMN JEFF NEVER WOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT !I WILL CALLED MY FROG MAN AND PUT MY ORDER IN ! I BET THAT WOULD DO THE TRICK ! :D :DELIVERED TOO !

Basket, I'll take contributions any way I can get em ...... personal check, cashier's check, cash ........ no matter. Just send something I can take to the bank that they'll recognize.

The young ladies at this branch didn't look like they'd allow me much for a raw pair of frawg legs though .....

Hello, all.

First, I must say that this is a wonderful group. What you are doing is just fantastic.

I run the Flight 401 Survivor message board that some of you have quoted from. I have been to the crash site myself a number of years ago (much of my family lives in Florida, and my brother-in-law used to have an airboat) and am in touch with several Flight 401 survivors. Two of which still live in the Miami area.

I will let them know about your efforts. One of them might be interested in taking a ride out to the site with you all.

Stay in touch.

-Peter

PeterW,

Welcome to Southern Airboat. There are a fine bunch of people here always willing to help.
Can you make the phone calls to see what survivors or family would like to visit the site on the anniversary?

Also, is there any type of permanent memorial in place there?

And are there any restrictions on visiting the site that you know of?

Welcome. Peter. Nice to have ya aboard. You'll be able to watch the progress of this very worthwhile effort over the
next couple of months, and it's my hope that we'll be able to make Mr. Marquis' life a little better come Thanksgiving.

My check is going in the mail tomorrow.

Thanks Olf for setting this up, and thanks in advance to all the SA members who will do what they can. Even if it's just a simple random act of kindness directed towards someone unrelated to this story.

It's stories like this one and the reaction to it of the members here that restore my faith in humanity.

Nutz, John C called me this afternoon and raised that point ...... that a lot of folks might prefer to pay electronically.

I have an old PayPal account, but I haven't used it in some time. Give me a couple of days to see what needs to be done there and if we can use that too I'll post the information.

Stay safe, man. Thanks for the inquiry.
