Hey just to let you know today is Buds Birthday Feb 11,,,,talked to him today he sounds real good. wanting to do some work on his car.. I think he is gonna be alright for a while misses his boat it is at the airboat association I think he would like it at home with him so he can take care of it kinda like a dog ...ha... they appreciate the call from swampcritter...mom doesnt know what to say sometimes I think she was caught off guard when you called but she let me know you called thanks...I didnt get my magazine with the large article about Dad this month anyone know if it was sent out? would love to have it....keep in touch...Terri

I just talked to Bud, he sounds good! He did say he fell in a restaraunt and is all bruised up from that though.
He wants his boat home so he can go out and do a few little things to it! I asked what needs to be done to it and he started that technical talk and I put someone else (a man) on the phone that could interpret the lingo he was using! They said some uh huh's and yeppers and yessirs... and it seems like the world is right again...go figure....
It seems to me he just wants his boat back home so he can have the other love of his life with him when he wants to spend some time with her! OOPPSS ! IT!!!
The main thing is, he does not a new Dr. yet. He said his insurance company is working on it, but it is not done yet.
I didn't get to talk to Nancy this time...I will call again soon! Love those folks!!!

No answer for the last hour. You might want to try calling and see what is up. I know that he has told me he wants his boat home. I am also under the understanding that the boat was to be taken back to his home at least a month ago...

I spoke to Bud and Nancy last night. Bud said that he was feeling pretty good. Bud was going to ride on his boat in a parade in Homestead with Cherpa and DavieGSO. They were going to pick Bud up with his boat in tow and go to the parade. Bud was to ill to attend at the time so that did not happen. Bud has been going to see his doctors and he has got one more test in a couple of days with his respiratory doc. As soon as he gets the OK from his doc he wants to go ride his airboat. I told him that as soon as he is clear to ride I will be there. When we are done riding I told bud that I will tow his boat back to his house for him. Paul Bailey and Mark Kendall have also offered to tow his boat from the AAOF Club to his house. We will no more in a few days. Hopefully By the weekend or the beginning of next week Bud will be riding again and his boat will be back at his house when he is done.

Uncle Bud's sister is in the Life Care Center in Punta Gorda Fl and is in deaths door. He wants to come over here and visit her while she is still alive. Is there anyway I can impose on someone in this family forum to make sure that happens?
I am out of my sick bed but for me to even try to go over there and get Bud and Nancy is not a safe option.I will do it though, if no other option is available. Bud and Nancy wants to come over here and see his sister Aunt Dot, (Dorothy)before she dies. Is that something I can ask from you guy's? I can and will make it happen if you can not do it though. I am "more well" now and) I do have friends that will help me make this happen if you guy's can't.

Uncle Bud, wow, small world. what are the chances of that. I went down to Homestead last Friday to visit Bud and Nancy. They are doing well. Florida Cracker and Priority one rode down with me. We took Bud to the AAOF Club and met up with Don Onstead. Hooked up the boats headed for the ramp. Bud had a great day. We went to his camp, did a lot of riding and stopped by Dons camp too. I towed Buds boat back to his house for him. I haven't talked to him since Friday. I'm afraid I can't Help out on this one. I just had Two Deaths in the family, one on Saturday and another on Tuesday. I've got services to attend here in Stuart and down in Miami. I hope someone will step up and help you out with this. Say hello to Uncle Bud for me. I'll be back down to go riding with him as soon as things get back to normal around here.

I have been calling the Life Care Center all day and was getting no answer from Aunt Dot's room so I asked to talk to her nurse and she told me that Aunt Dot is at the hospital for a blood transfusion and will be back this evening. I will try again later but that doesn't sound good at all if she is in the blood transfusion stage.
I just talked to UNCLE BUD and AUNT NANCY
and they are going to try to find a friend from over there to give them a ride but I let them know I will do it if they can't find anyone available. I got your number from them and am going to call you in a few minutes. They said you guy's work different hours so hopefully I will get one of you.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Bud lost his sister yesterday, she had been sick for quite sometime...loosing his mom and sis in less than a year is pretty hard..he seems to be doing fairly well
keep him in your prayers I really worry about him will try to keep his spirits up to par..he had a great time at the barbecue..talk to you all later..Terri

Terri, I talked to Bud and Nancy yesterday afternoon. They both seemed to be taking it pretty well because your aunt had been ill for so long.

Just an update on bud and nancy, did the lawn last sunday, they are doing fine, but I do believe they would like to hear from some of you folks. Just got of the phone with Bud, we are gonna build him an overhang for his washer and dryer outside tomorrow. All is well, but as bud said, and I quote.......Guess everyone forgot about me. Quote friggin Unquote. Folks, can we not forget about bud and all he did and all y'all did for him. For gods sake, pick up the phone, say hello, write a letter, something of that sort. I don't mind being what I have always been to bud, a neighbor that takes care of his yard and sits on the front porch and talks, but I think he would love hearing from the folks that made it happen and that would be you.
Okay, Nuff said. I am gonna get swampcritter riled up about this so y'all stay in touch with bud. Hell, call him up, invite Yourselves out for a weekend at his camp. Lord knows he, and you need it. Great people are hard to find, don't lose this one.
