Fatboy0054 is right, every 30 hours. If I have been running real hard for a few rides then I will change it early, $10.00 is cheaper than buying a new rotator because you were unsure. It is almost $10.00 a quart.
NOPE
If you want any chance of them honoring the warranty, you gotta get THEIR special blend of gear oil.
part of the reason I run a Stinger, I can get gear oil anywhere.
There is some seriously good info on this site. I was wondering the same thing just the other day. I dread the thought of trying to re-fill my Rotator through that little hole though. Anybody have any ideas on how to make it less nightmarish?
Like snake- bit said. use the top off a gear lube bottle, it fits in the hole just fine. Screw it on and squirt it in. Run the boat on the trailer for a few minutes before you drain the oil from your gearbox. It comes out alot faster after its been warmed up.
WHAT THEY SAID ! I PUT A OIL GAUGE TUBING BESIDE IN THE CASE BY THE NIPPLE ! LETS THE AIR OUT A LITTLE BIT BETTER !IF YOU GET IN A HURRY ! WELL YOU WILL FIND OUT ! ITS A TWO BEER DEAL !
