SA, growth at a glance

Looking at the member list, I came up with
some cool stats.
First member on 8/14/03 ( Rick of course )
at the end of 2003, we had 11 members. ( only 5 show more than 1 post )
In 2004 the pot began to simmer, at year's end we had 94 members.
at the end of 2005 we were well into triple digits with 464 members.
in2006 the train started picking up speed, ended the year with 908 members.
2007 AKA the year of Bull Frog Bud ,membership shot to 1750, by end of 07
and now in 2008 we have already hit 1900, 45 new members since Feb. 1, 08
that's 45 in 14 days. the first 45 members took from 8/14/03- 7/29/04.
Just thought this was cool, and wanted to share it.

This is a super site and i check it every night to see what's going on in airboating.
It is growing in leaps and bounds and the infomation gained will only get better.
The only other airboat site I know of is the new mini site that is dedicated just to
Mini Airboats which I am also a member.
Thank You Rick for building such a good place for us to play. Chuck
 
ive watched it grow like a kid and like a child it has matured in leaps an bounds, i would say it has become the voice of airboating in general, every club has a voice every airboater has a voice, rick you must be so proud of the progress since the birth of southern airboat long may she slide!!
 
Plum makes a great point, I think. SA isn't just getting bigger and older, it's getting better. Last year's project for Bud and Nancy is
proof of what all of us, together, are now capable of accomplishing.

This site has united more airboaters than any other club i no of. really cool rick. united we stand. I also believe this site has encouraged better boat building. 8)
 
Got my vote and I'm one of the "newbies"! I've never laughed so hard in my life, some of you are crazy and that's a GOOD thing :)
 
The lessons that I have had here, and the help when called for, is something that just makes a person all feel apart of this club. I started looking for all of the information that I could find on the computer pertaining to air boats a little over 2 years ago: and in November of 2007. I wanted one so bad, and had no knowledge about one. I discovered this site by accident one night. I got so wrapped up in reading the information and found a GOLD MINE OF KNOWLEDGE AND CAMARADERIE HERE, No other site like it, or could ever beat this site. This is the knowledge Site for Air Boats. Thanks Everyone for making this the site it is today. But we still need some more contributing members, to keep this site going.
