Hey gang, I'm back!!
I want to say thanks for the support!! It means a lot.
I ended up in Ft. Pierce waiting to link up with a unit that had our equipment and wanted to be trained (we were told they did anyways.) After 3 days of being told to stand-by, that the unit was still in Miami but would leave soon...we were told to go home. Oh well...Hurry up and wait...nothing's changed.
The Indian River County and St. Lucie County areas were not hit that bad. If you live there and wish to disagree that's fine but you know that it doesn't compare to last year's storms. Now, if you were able to hear the local radio stations you'd swear that New Orleans wasn't hit as hard as these two places!! :x
As we went south on short range patrols we saw increasing levels of damage and I heard that from West Palm south was rough.
Thanks again.
Adam
