A fellow airboater and my best friend Dan Czarnecki, had a accident falling off a second story balcony whyle moving his daughter. He among other injuries broke 14 ribs , his scapula ( big shoulder bone) punctured both lungs , dislocated one finger , cracked 6 vertebra . As a result of being in intensive care for almost 3 weeks and in the hospital for a total of 4 1/2 weeks has been left with with medical bills in the thousands and continuing therapy costs. I have spearheaded a dual poker run August 9th one on the Platte and Elkhorn rivers. And one over the road for motorcycles, ending with a hog roast and whatever we can get planned. I am looking for ANY help to be offered. Also donations can be sent PMMe for details. Sorry for lack of details the ball just started rolling.

Ok the details for the airboat poker run is August 9th starting at 12:00 noon draw first card at the mouth of the Elkhorn river. The run ends at last card at Lake Platteview pavilion at 4:00 pm followed by hog roast, with all the picnic sides and soft drinks provided, BYO COOLERS WITH YOUR CHOICE OF DRINK. We are NOT providing alcohol. This is going to be a family type fund raising event I am going to thank in advance all who attend and all who has donated to get this going. There will be airboat rides offered at the event for donations, possible parachute landing lottery (depending on weather). Please come and help make this fundraiser a success. NAA airboat T shirts will be available on site first come first served we have a limited quantity for sale and auction. There will be DU prints for auction and other various items there also.

Had a wonderful time on my first poker run. It seemed very organized. I might just have to learn how to play poker! To more comfortable days ahead Dan... as you heal. It was an amazing day hope you enjoyed it.
