Been testin a lil bitty Hundai engine on my thrust tester. Engine is Turbocharged and makes just under 300HP. Got a 2.38 (Yes that's a 3) rotator on it and been testin 4 and 5 blade Warp Drive blades......SERIOUS data....What we learned from the Sensenich on my turbo LS2 was a totally different creature than this one...We all expected that goin in, but I doubt anyone would beleive the results. And honestly...Usin a Warp Drive she may like a 2:1 even better. Thrust curves and prop speed are finally getting plotted....But regardless...I went in thinkin the warp wouldn't be that efficient or make that much thrust based on everything I was lead to beleive....But this tiny Hundai made almost 1000#s of thrust! I was proud that the LS2 made over 2200, but much more amazed at the 980 made by this engine...More to follow...It's midnight here and 11AM there...Gotta get sleep and start testin the LS2 again...C Ya'll soon.

That's good stuff! Would like to be there. Were going to have to build some extra 209 and 238 know.LOL

I don't wanna put my foot in my mouth just yet, but one thing I will definitely say is....The Warp is SOOOOO sensitive to it's sweet spot...Don't get me wrong...It performs as promised, but once you find what it wants, it leaves you scratchin your head...Mind you all data has been backed up 3-fold on each test.

The big blades and lower speed are very predictable and tend to stall at peak TQ, but the Warps tend to walk outside of that...There's no real calculation or trend like a superwide....Kinda likes RPM and HP and responds much more or should I say sensitive to blade count, pitch etc etc.....

So with that little bit bein said, I'll let those in the know comment, and I'll try my damndest to not jump to any conclusions and see how this stuff plays out. Lottsa accurate/repeatable data, financial backing and several teams of "NO BS"/scientific data logging....Interesting stuff.....

You are probably going to find out what us diehard warpdrive users already know..... that is when you get it properly dialed in it is a very good all around prop and doesn't have a problem with adverse harmonics!
Engine temps and oil consumption will go down. If you want more fuel economy and the running isn't to bad you can roll in some pitch!
It will be snappy even with to much pitch.
JMO!

Just like everything Warp Drives have a few awsome characteristics! They produce the highest airspeed! I loved them until I started run big HP car motors it's a pain to adjust ten or twelve blades just a ten blade has 40 bolts to loosen and re-tighten that and the pain in the ear was the only two things I didn't like about Warp Drives!

Well one thing's for sure. unless I'm runnin a 9000RPM engine I wouldn't use much over a 2:1 with em regardless of how many blades it's got. They sure do like the revs. The only readon they have more airspeed is cuz everyone spins em faster. The stream of air they push is narrow and needs a lot more speed, unlike a wideblade.

Let's just say a Sensenich is a torque prop and Warp is a HP prop. A lot of what everyone knows, but true hard data is pretty amazing. Another funny thing is that the warp seems so much more affected by blade count. Well off to the races for the day and back to test the LS2 and the Sensenich tommorow. Oh yeah...If anyone's watchin the UFC PPV. lemme know what happened eh? I can't get it here...It's Sunday mornin and you guys should be gettin it in a couple hours.

and the fight before goerge st.pierre was killer as well- serious chess match for alittle while-was great to see pierre win- and also coulture- his opponent was bleeding good but everytime he swung i ducked for coulture- that guy had heavy hands, could of knocked his head off if coulture wasnt so quick.
