which one would you suggest for a 12 ft hamant with a fuel injected 200hp lycoming w/ single front double rear, i run the hill a lot and would like to get a prop that would best suit shallow running and running dry.

I would use a standard 2 blade adjustable Sensenich 72 inch. "Git-R-Done"!!

i guess im down to the standard sensenich or the cypress series powershift and have heard mixed reports on each and just seeking some insight on others experience

Everyone that I run with that have 4 cylinders and like to hunt in the thick stuff run the cypress blades. One is a 150 with a 66" and two are 180's running 68's. These guys need max push for the stuff they go through loaded down. Also have a friend running a 68" sensenich narrow blade on a hopped up 290 that runs dry real well.

Some over here in LA like the Signature Series Powershift props on the 0-360's. They say they get more push from the wider blades and only lose a little snap. I am currently running a wide blade wooden prop on a 180 and would not dream of going back to a narrow blade.

what about maybe a 66 inch cypress series 3 blade on a 200

nevermind the 66 inch they dont make that for a three blade hub, anyone know anyone who runs a 3 blade 68 cypress series on a 200 horse, my engine came out of a helicopter so i think its actually a little more than 200hp.

I think your best bet is to go with a five blade warp drive. I had a 200 angle valve on a 12ft river master. I ran everywhere the 540's ran and more. If your looking for the snap and quick response, then get a warp drive. The only downfall is that they flex when rpm's reach an amount that is too fast for the degree of pitch in the blades.

its got a 5 blade warp drive on it now, i just bought the boat and i cant stand the noise, it feels like your always on the gas, i am gonna try something else and i guess if it doesnt work out ill go back and get used to it.
