Plates must have been a lucky charm.... I've never shot a banded bird before.... last day of season today so after a funeral on Sat, I put the plates on and ended up with bling this morning....
And yeah, I'll have to get a more close up of the plate, and as much as I love them, I'm just more tickled about my band....

flag pond. The cans are going on the wall too, I shot one 2 years ago there but my freezer died and lost it, a cinny, and a goldeneye...
Alberta, 7/04. Just found the online website to report it and find the info out. One other boat in flag pond. And the locals that have other access, I think either 1 or 2 groups of those.
Not many birds around, but could have killed many more sprig if I wasn't so busy picking up others trash at the time.... I wasn't paying attention and had 2 others hunting.. they should have had theirs plus a mallard.
How did y'all finish?

Pretty slow--Birds not on the river like they were. I think a bunch came down with the front and then all the rain that came friday before last spread them out--moved them around. Last Sat--the river swoll up on us to where we could not walk into our normal holes. It rose about 8-9' that day. It was too late by that point to get the boat--bad part is I looked at the level in B-town before we left the house. It was only up a foot--the egg going down the snake had not made it that far yet.

Geez... I've been slacking here on SA .... Just found this thread... So glad you guys like them!!! I really had fun helping you guys with this project. Its alot more fun to work on when its a group effort rather than me trying to use my brain to come up with ideas on my own!! I have to admit this though and maybe I should just keep my mouth shut, (never been very good at that though....lol) Anyway.. I was a little disappointed in the Shadowgrass Camo Clad... I know its one of their older patterns and its nice camo, don't get me wrong... but if you guys see the HD camo patterns later on you'll be blown away.... I had never seen the Shadow Grass until I ordered it for you guys so I couldn't even warn you!! But if we ever decide to do something else for your club, I think we need to look at a different pattern... cuz the others look like a photo compared to the screen printing that they used for the Shadow Grass... But I still think the plates came out fantastic!!! PLEASE let me know if anyone has any problems with their plates and I'll take care of it for you...
Don't know if anybody else ran into this or not, but one guys plates looked like they got caught in the machine at the post office and they were dented when he got them... anybody else have this happen??? (Just thinking about the way I mail them later on might need to package them differently...)
