Thinking about making a shuttle launch trip, any of you guys live near the pad and know of a better viewing spot. I hope to do a vip pass one day but for now mabe just a road trip.
I go to Hwy 50 and US1 in titusville. There are places to park with in 1 to two blocks on the northwest side of the intersection. Free parking!!!
The view is great. You can see it leave the launch pad. Also, Hwy 50 and the St Johns river is Okay but not as good as titusville.
50 and US1 can get real crowded I would go to 528 between Merritt Island and the port. Titusville is a little closer to the pad but you'll get out of the traffic alittle sooner on the Island. JUst bring some binoculers and you'll be fine either place.
