Nice torque curve in relation to the HP curve - throughout the RPM range.

Being SB, looks like maybe a motor with 4" or better stroke and maybe around a 6" rod???

The BSFC numbers look odd! with a 1050 and these numbers I doubt it's a pump gas motor but she would make a killer raceboat motor! Here is a 402 LS2 combo that's very close to what is going on my 14ft Hammant this motor is a tad smaller then mine. Man I can't wait, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I will post the dyno sheet for my ride boat after I dyno it!
 
The BSFCs on the Mitchell motor are pretty well in line. The best BSFC in the HP zone is at max TQ, The BSFCs are better below but the A/F is leaner. By the looks of your BSFCs and being an LS engine there's a LOT of power to be had by leanin her down. In the 5s pretty much everywhere is waaay more than safe.

I wouldn't lean it down in a airboat unless it was on a little hull! How many inches is it. I know you can get around 500 out of them now!
 
Gotta keep stepping up I know some big manufactures are entering the market. I want too stay ahead in performance and always have the best customer service! I have three dyno test's scheduled in January of new engine packages. 430's 427's and the torque monster. I'm also completely changing my web site plus I'm gonna have some cool stuff for you A/C guy's. Stuff that will be high tech, high quality and cheaper then what the used stuff is costing!
 
They'll have the goon sqaud out for you for sure doing that :lol: I'm going to try to go to Potters on Christmas vacation and do some dyno time on my new 383.
 
I didn't notice the manifold air temps and AF ratio...I thought it was a normally aspirated engine. Seeing the 5s I was assuming the AFs were in the low 12s....But if you get the Water temp down to airboat temps you'll have that much more room. Vwry conservative and smart.

fuel injected 540 on a hawk, and a12' davis full deck, 540 w/no2...current rides

your LS motors are getting my attention though

That would make a hell of a race boat engine. Put that sucker on a JW square nose hull...It would be hard to beat.
 
Muffelled 500 Would they be interested in a F.I. motor or do you want them to be carbed! These FI motors are strong a 550HP will swing a Maximus at the third mark like a toy! I could build them a 600F.I. if they have enough prop! Let me know!
