Cajun

Picked up 3 hogs today out of my traps. All about 125 + lbs. Kept one for the freezer and released the other 2. Just thought I would post a couple of pics of tomorrows dinner. Later Cajun

If someone will remind me about a week ahead of time I might can fill the order. Wonder if I could get some help near by to help clean them ? Hernando county. Later Cajun

I will remind you and if needed will drive up and help ya skin em. That boilin and scrapin is a lot of work but I think they roast better that way. I know maybe we can skin em and wrap them in bannana leaves Like they do in hawaii I got bannana leaves in the yard if it dont freeze by then.

I did a nuisance wildlife call a while back for the county on an EMU, they had tried to catch it for 5 days. I'm 51 , smoke and don't work out, I lasted about 1/4 mile chasing that thing. Went back to the truck got the gun and ended the problem. I had a guy that wanted to pay me $10. a lb. for the meat so I butchered it. If he don't pick it up I'll donate it also. Heres a couple of pics of it too.

if they have a hind toe like a cassawarry ( big australian bird)they can gut you in blink of an eye and the last thing yuall see is your stomach hittin your feet just some info if you ever try and catch one

Yea I know all too well about them big birds, Over the last thirty years of doing this stuff, there ain't much I haven't seen or tried. You learn alot of respect for even the smallest animals and such if you deal with enough of them. That Emu ran over and knocked down a field fence and I had it cornered with my truck one time and it went over the bed. Thems one bad azz bird. I use to take out some birds with a bullwhip when it was in an area I couldn't shoot. A good bullwhip you can break a birds neck. No noise , no blood, no fuss. Heres a couple of P-cocks that was tearing up some new cars, couldn't shoot them so just sorta nudged them to the rear of the apartments outa sight of the bird lovers and the bullwhip and bags brought dinner to the house again, plus alittle gas money. A couple of pics of the stealth tools and the wife getting down to business. Notice the bullwhip rolled up. I get alot of different type groceries, I try not to waste anything thats worth eating, the p-cocks you cannot tell any difference between them and turkeys, I believe they are cousins anyway.Later Cajun
