Hey y'all,
In case you didn't see this elsewhere on here.

Some members of Southern Airboat donated funds to send one child to a free week long summer camp.

It is located in Western Palm Beach County at the Evrglades Youth Conservation Camp. This is a very nice camp, with very good programs for children of all ages.

It is getting very full, so if any of you Southern Airboaters out there know of a child that would like to attend this camp, check out the dates, and availablillty at the link below.

It looks like a girl, age 12-14 would have the most choices right know.

We need to find a child to enjoy ths special gift provided by some of the Southern Airboat members.

Check it out

I am going to try and send my daughter. Basket bring everything with you this weekend.

That sounds great Dakota!

I'll call down there on Monday to say we have someone in mind w/official registration to follow if that's okay.

If you go to the link below you'll be a big step ahead, (on-line registration).
So happy for her, the camp really is an awesome place!

I just talked to Laura Thornton at the Everglades Youth Conservation Camp. It seems that they had just found a little girl to take the Southern Airboat spot also.

I'm all for sending two. I just need to know where/when to send the check.

Dakota, if you need to mail an application, I could send the check to you to mail with it.

Just let me know.

Rick

no that is fine to send the other person. I was just going to do it because there was no one else. Not a problem.

Hey ya'll,

Here we are one year later...

It took Branco, Bishop Wright, and I even took the mic for a minute to speak to the audience at the lake cleanup this past Saturday. This was in an attempt to find someone for camp again this year. This camp truly is a life changing place for some lucky children in such a positive way!

The grandson of a long time member of KRVSA will get to go this year, (forseeing any reason for application denial). Congratulations to this young man!
I believe that Rick is sending him a S.A. t-shirt. Thanks again to all who supported and made this happen

Thank's basketcase.

We're good to go on this end and the SA package (shirt, hat, stickers) will be in the mail tomorrow. Lookin forward to doing it again next year too.
