Lookout guys. THis morning got an email from SAO saying something of my registration and password. Looks like it has spyware in it.

I got spam with virus also, but yahoo checks for it and deleted it. I reccomend yahoo it has always worked so far.

Spam on Roadrunner has been a problem for the pass two days. Notice the address that it is sent to is something like "allemail@ Roadrunner".
They all have attachments. DO NOT OPEN THEM!! Delete it all. I got from from supposedly the CIA that my IP Address was observed at restricted sites. It also had an attachment.

This is the name of the known virus for the "CIA" e-mail.

My e-mail program recognized it and reported it. The title of the e-mail was "Your IP was logged". If you get this or anything like it, DO NOT OPEN!!
Also, I have been recieving a TON of other spam from various names and domains. All junk. And all related to SAO. Somebody must have gotten into the list here. The problem with these spammers is that they use different domains and names that look legitimate, so unfortunately we have to mark them as spam one at a time.

Laura, I couldn't agree more. RUDE and completely without conscience for the lives of others. I would like to see this kind of activity made a felony offense ..... they are, after all, in some cases destroying equipment that is valued in the thousands, and disrupting not only lives but businesses.
Early last Spring I opened an email that said it was from PayPal. Within seconds my computer was junk. I lost dozens of important files, treasured pictures, my address book .... everything. When it happened I had Norton ( industrial grade .... the one they use at NAS Jax! ), and Earthlink firewall and SpamGuard. It got through anyway.
Matt's Apple system will be the way I go if it ever happens again.
