St. Johns River Cleanup

Yesterday was the St. Johns River cleanup from 8am to noon. We hauled out 6 big bags of gargage off some of the islands north of 50 with our airboat. Some ROTC kids unloaded our boat at Hat Bill Park and members of the St Johns River Alliance were there. We even gave the Alliance people a ride. Hopefully we gave them all a good impression of our boats. I should have mentioned this cleanup earlier on this forum so more boats could have participated. Next year for sure!

Good job. If you would forward me an outline or flyer a week before the event, we will do PRESS RELEASES of the event.

It's good that we do the events. It's better when everyone locally knows of your good deeds. By communicating these deeds in the areas we run is how we make many new friends........
Since Florida Today gave us a dig (airboats & bikes) last week, they should have been notified of the event so they can say something POSITIVE about airboats

I sure will let everyone know. Even though I like surfing the web I not real sure of myself when posting on the web. That's why dropped the ball on this one. But I have a great picture of my boat loaded down with plastic bags of trash I want to post. As soon as I figure out how to do it I will.
