Is this the one Cntry? Hmmm.... I suppose there could be a mule team just off the edge of that photo. A pack of huskies? Magnets? Psychic Telekinesis?

Nice one Basket. I hope we get to ride with you down there soon. We won't be able to follow you there though!

matt.

Those snags could be fun. Nice Shot. I might try to follow in certain boats if I had a good sharp saw.

Actually downed tree limbs and even standing saplings are great to slide over. The boat slides really well (or most do) but typically the bent over saplings start giving you spring like pushes in directions you don't want to go. Nothing more shameful than getting stuck between two trees and not having a saw.

Pat I been there done that LOL damn embarrassing to have to walk out and hunt up a saw and a ride back the next day, most just dont understand why you need a saw to get a boat unstuck.

Cntry,

You got me!!

Gotta look closely...The water is about 10 feet in front of the boat on the left!

Is still runnin good though, ran about 20-25 miles by GPS Saturday and only used a little over 1/4 of a tank of gas!

WallyGator,

My boat really does go places now! Lots more power to come once I can afford a "Thunder" engine! The boat has the 454/425H.P. engine, (lot of different opinions about this much engine on the 14 X 8 foot hull). CH-3 long belt drive with 2.0 ratio counter rotator with 80" Sensenich props.

Red, I didn't "climb the hill" in this pic cause the boat is by itself in the middle of the "Big Lake", (one of those spontanious decisions Cntry taught me)!

"C'mon honey, lets just go"!

Basket,

You only used a ¼ tank of gas running 25 miles? How big is your tank?

Thanks,
tf
