Went froggin in stans backyard this weekend and it was great. The frogs were a little too big but I suffered through it. I gigged a few little ones just to use as practice. I belive cowboy calls them hard knots LOL Florida has so much too offer. We were the only airboats on the lake we were on and only heard one other boat all evening. There are a lot of idle only zones which go for miles and there are lots of tempting areas which are off limits but if you play by the rules it is a great area to ride in.

Stan was a great host and didn't make me look bad. I know he was sandbaggin me but next week we are on neutral territory in the glades so I know he will kick my butt then.

Sounds like you had fun which makes it worth it.

Were you on Lake george proper? Or north? or south? Maybe Lake Woodruff? I've been up there hundreds of times in various kickers, but only "that one" time in an airboat. I'm still scared to go on the ACTUAL LAKE itself when it comes to Lake George!

Looking forward to seeing BOTH you guys next week in the 'glades.

Cntry was kind enough to showed me saturday night how frogging was realy done. Here i'd been thinking all along that I was at least decent ,wrong.found out later cntry had been gigging eye balls, frogs remained under the water covered in vegatation with just there eye's visable ,later i discovered that he had giged 10 for every one of mine . I tried to make excuse's for my laking skills , light was to bright wich it was ,gig was dull and rusty, but what it realy boiled down to I had allways been used to the frogs sitting up on top of the vegatation all proud with there chest stuck out not noticeing the ones hidden beneath. Well we live and learn , thanks for the education cntry even though it was hard to swollow

Mood ,There is alot of florida out there to be explored. I don't believe I can do it all in one life time but I am trying. As for the honey hole ,we were between the Ziegler dead river and Staggers mud lake.

Stan those legs won't be hard to swallow next friday night at holiday park. We still have a bunch left even after giving up two bags for the tow job at the boat ramp on sunday LOL new motto: dont go where the green grass grows. especially if all the other grass is brown around. Like you say live and learn and re-learn I knew better than to do that. I wish you woulda let me keep those super size tadpoles I was giggin though that wa swhat they were right ... although I have never seen tadpoles with that many teeth. I had a blast man thanks
