Supertrapp Exhausts

Does anyone know how well supertrapp's disc only exhaust sysytem works? I'm talking about the one that goes right on the end of your current exhaust. Is the sound reduction any good? Also, I see in an earlier post someone mentions needing 18 discs for a 540, do they sell a unit that big because all I see are 12 disc sets. Can you add on more to this set?

You can add discs. They sell them along with longer bolts. I think I ordered mine from Summitt. The Super Trapp will actually add rpm's. We used them on motorcycles---less discs- less noise. We had to pass a sound check with the mc's---the ability to remove a few discs and lower decibles worked well. They're also stainless.

I talked with another friend who has them and he really likes them. He couldn't tell me so i'll ask here...Does the diameter make any difference. I see that they sell 4" and 5" discs. Does one work differently?
