Supper Trapp Mufflers

I know there was a link on here about the super trap disc only mufflers. I am wondering if anyone else has tried that. I was severly harassed by some seminole county sherriffs officers and this came up(lack of mufflers). (Believe it or not I was at a gas station with the boat on the trailer). I figured it was time to step up to the plate and put them on. Looking at the disc only mufflers looks like would slide over my flex pipe and just clamp on. Thanks for the help in advance.

I think Harvey uses them...from what I hear they work ok. Not sure how much sound reduction they bring (I've never seen them personnally) but you can tune them to your motor so I guess that's a trade off. You might want to call Paul Dixon. He talked with me for a while on the phone explaining them and how he uses them on his setups. He may even sell them but I'm not sure about that.

Look under "Airboat Sound Research" . I have a picture of mine and the db readings. My engine is quiet. My prop is OK up to about 2000 rpm's---over that it's loud.

I run the disc only mufflers on my GPU and like Harvey my engine is quiet but the prop is loud over 2000 rpm. I am using 12 discs. I run a narrow two blade sensenich now but I am going to try a friend's wide blades this weekend and I hope it will be a little quieter yet.
