synthetic oil?

I use it in all our vehicles, I"m very impressed with its life, and esepcially if you change out filters on a regular basis.

Any negatives or positives to putting it in my new to me 500 caddy?

THanks, Jeff

Typically, you don't want synthetic with a flat tappet cam. I LOVE synthetic on a roller. What happens is (especially with our tiny journals) is that the synthetic is so slick, the lifter stops rotating properly and it wears pre-maturely. We use Dello 400 with Comp ZDDP zinc supplement. This is needed because the govt. made em take it (zinc)out of conventional motor oils for EPA reasons, plus it gives the O2 sensores and converters a hard time. There are no more flat tappet cams made or carbs on new vehicles, so they phased it out. WE need it. Hope this helps. Call or keep on posting if you want to know anymore.
