The best Christmas Gift of all, can not be bought in a store. It is the act of giving. Helping someone that is truly in need.

I would just like to say THANK YOU to all that have helped Bud and Nancy Marquis. Giving from the heart in any way, large or small. It doesn't matter. Just the fact that you thought enough about someone else in need and did what you could has made a big difference in there lives.

It has been my pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with such great people and I am honored to be part of this group of Southern Airboaters.

The Gift of Giving has brought Bud and Nancy's family together, and has rejuvenated Bud. Just take a look at the first pictures of Bud and then take a look at the pictures after the Dec.3rd event and of him on his boat. That can not be bought in a store.

I just wanted to say Y'all have done a real good thing. I'm sure the Big Man is looking down upon us during this Christmas Season and giving a bunch of Airboaters a Big Thumbs Up. :thumbup:

Right from the heart John.
The things that have been done for Bud and his family are an outward demonstration of our love and appreciation for them. But more importantly than rebuilding his boat, re-roofing his house, financial help and more is the human element of our actions. He has found new friendships, people that care, recognition and many more reasons to enjoy life. The boat will get old and faded, material things will pass, but he will treasure the people and their love that's left behind. I know you and others have grown close to him while some of us have only had a brief glimpse or a hello. My reward is seeing that in his face.

35 years ago the Lord sent Bud Marquise to help a lot of people in need because he knew he could and would do the task now the the good Lord has sent the members of Southern Airboat to help Bud Marquise because he knew that they could and would be up to the task Merry Christmas to you all
