The ladies had fun

I heard from our guests that I rode around at the TOY DRIVE and they had a great time. They indicated they wanted to do it again and I extended the invitation on behalf of SOUTHERN AIRBOAT for them to join us at any event we had and we would hook them up with a ride or two on different boats.

My thanks to all who were on the run to the OAKHEAD for being so courteous as to head back when we needed to from MOCCASIN ISLAND. Thunder you did a great job leading back on a very nice trail. They didn't expect quite as long a ride as they ended up on and forgot to tell me they had other appointments that day. They wish they could have ridden longer but I told them next time we would.

They were amazed at how peaceful it was out there and how beautiful. I explained that our boats take a long time to make atrail and if we don't run the same path always there is no real damage to the environment and as for the coots flying up I told them those are the silliest birds around, they dive at the boat sometimes and are never really hit when run over because they dive under water in front of the boat. We ran past a redtail hawk or two and they didn't even fly up which backed up my position thta our boats are not a threat to the environment. Whomeever it was that caught the snake at MOCASSIN ISLAND that was good, we didn't even scare off the snakes when we pulled up and parked.

I believe we did a fine job of aquainting two more people to airboating successfully. One of them was talking of selling her boat and of course I suggested she pick up an airboat and join us. you never know that was the first ride for them, if they ride twice more they are hooked. 8)
