just wanted to get apinion 68 three blade super snapper on a 220 on 12.6 3/4 deck any info would help or other is 72 stump puller witch better

sorry I have no experience with small props but call the airboat stores and they will tell you cause they want to sell you one and they want you to have the right one so your happy and come back with your buddies

I just got a 68 inch Super Snapper from WhirlWind. I have only run it once, the boat seems to run dry a little better. I have it on a 12 ft with a 0360. I like the fact that its easily adjustable. You also want might to consider having to adjust that 3 blade, could be an ongoing pain in the keyster, as adjusting a 2 blade prop is quick & easy. I feel for the price, I got a great deal.

did you get a 2 or 3 blade i got 68three blade today i need to play with it alittle more but i think i lick it idont have a tac yet and dont no what rpms im running had 70 42 on it before mines 220

I have a 2 blade. It was real easy to adjust and dial in. I started @ 15 degrees like the instructions said, then ran the motor up to 2000 RPMs, then about 3200 RPMs. I then moved it to 18 degrees and the motor would not go past 3000 RPM's. That 6 cyl should turn that 3 blade just fine.

JL242, what prop were you running before the super snapper? I am considering going to either the 68 or 66 with my 150 hp GPU continental, but I turn my prop now at 2800 RPM(68 x 34 sensenich stick). Just dont know if it would make a differnece.

I was running a Florida Airboat stick prop. I think a carbon fiber prop would make a difference. It made one on my boat. I haven't had it long enough to see if it has made a difference in fuel consumtion, but it does enable the boat to run dry with more than one person on it (my slick bottom is slap wore out). I would call WhirlWind and see what they reccomend for a 150. I feel my 180 could sling a bigger bladed prop, but I don't think I have the clearance. You can't beat their deals either, plus you can use that wood prop as a paddle.
