Are you sure Dakota? I must have mis-read it because I thought the article was saying how bad it is now, and how they are going to drain a large area, but only to re-do some of the canals and levees to bring it back to a state better than it is now. And it will result in MORE marsh area.

I guess it boils down to what a person's definition of an IMPREVEMENT is.

I'm confused on this for sure.

I did see they quoted Cap'n Jeff in the article - and the duck hunters seem pretty pleased with it. Usually, if the duck hunters are happy the airboaters are happy too.
