:D :D YUP JUST THREE MORE OF THE LONGEST WEEKS OF MY LIFE. The 520 barge will be FINISHED. Looking forward to meeting and riding ALL of you fine people at one time or another. it has been way to long since i've had a boat. the boat is an alumitech 13'6"x8 side by side rear oper with cont 520 stainless metal works. nothing fancy but it is special to me ,just can't wait to finally be finished.

Tomorrow is one day closer,Hang in there it'll be here before you know it!

Good luck with the new boat!!

Alumitech told me it would only be three more weeks about 3 times. They are not real good with deadlines, but make a great boat when it is completed. It sounds like you are going to have the same set up that I do, you will be happy with it. I want to see pictures when it is completed.

Well, hopefully this will be one of those times when they finish on schedule.

There's no better feeling than the first time that you get your new boat up on plane. Where ya gonna take it first?

Feeling your pain Alumitech 520. I just got my overhauled upstack 0540 back from Dave's Airparts on Friday. If it runs as good as it looks, its gonna be awesome. Going on a 13x8 Alumitech 2-cut hull. Can't wait, I have about three weeks to go also. My brother finished his new boat Sunday, 13'6x8 Alumitech 2-cut with Waterthunder LS-2. Fun times ahead for sure! 8)

the metal work is finished, just waing for the engine from daves airparts. 1st trip is at lake kiss lake cypress. nightrider how does your brother like his 13'6" x 8',ride??. dk99 i'm in orlando too. :D :D :D

Alumitech520, I don't think he has really had a chance to run it much yet. That Waterthunder engine sounds like a beast though! I put about 20 hrs. on my boat before deciding to re-rig and overhaul the engine. Really liked the hull, and Dave at Alumitech was 1st class in my dealings with him. My new metal works start Monday, should have it back in 2-3 weeks. :D It is my first boat, so I don't have much to compare it to.

even if it is 5-6 more weeks, at least you WILL be getting an airboat, not like this silver dollar B-S. im sure if your alittle patient youll be very satisfied. they have a good reputation and i bet that theyll be keeping it intact.

i,m just waiying for the motor and acouple of misc things.i know all about the3 weeks deal. just apply alittle pressure on them at alumitech. i had to and everything fell right together. their coast guard boats take pressidence. when the motor is done she will be ready.
