We are coming up for the columbus run staying the week then going to Thunder. Plan on getting plenty of boat time in.

a bunch of us from Schuyler/North Bend area will be up thursday nite for the weekend.

Will have a few from Fremont out there again this year... debating weather to bring the boat or not.

I will be up there. I am staying at the Super 8 in St Paul. Getting in Thur. Night to get plenty of boating time in.

I'll be bringing a camper and my boat out this year. Question is do they sell fuel there on site or would I need to go into Palmer to get fuel? And can we pull in on Thursday evening?

Dan. No problem on showing up Thursday. I'm parking my camper wed. Don't remember seeing fuel. I bring mine so I don't have to go looking.

hopefully I'll be able to find a spot. I'll bring some fuel in cans but not sure how much I'll use. The talk is to just get across to a sandbar for a different perspective from my past experiences. I guess Palmer isn't really that far away if I need to run in to fill my cans again.

There was a truck the last couple of years that would bring gas out to it.

If anyone finds my anchor out there please let me know... lol! I left the campground and completely forgot that my anchor was still on the river bank where I had the boat tied up. It's made of stainless steel with a green rope and had a stainless t-stake thru it. Has Dan Jr. on it with welds. Twards the east end of where the campers were. Had a great time this year again and looking forward to next year!

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of those Bonnie and I met out there this year at the Marsh Rider tent!!! We felt so welcomed! It was a GREAT weekend and now I can't wait for next year!!!!
