Timed-out A/C engines

I met a guy who told me about a place in Mesa AZ that sold aircraft engines when they were timed-out but he could not remember the name of the place. Anybody know about this? He said they would crate and ship them at a reasonable price.

Short round, one of our members just bought a low time engine right here in Florida a couple of weeks back at a great price.
I guess a lot of us just question the wisdom of buying an engine sight unseen and then paying to have it shipped in here all the way from Arizona.

Just a thought.
 
Short Round, if you give me a call, I might be able to help out. If you interested in insurance deals on planes where they totaled the whole plane due to hail or any other structural issues. Many times the engines are low time even. If interested call me 693-1634 but remember to remind me what were talking about.

Back at Christmas, Embry Riddle up in Daytona lost a bunch of
small aircraft to the tornado. Insurance on them should be settling
up soon and might be a source of airboat motors.
