Tired of rudder riders

while driving the ole ford f350 6.0 powerstroke antifreeze out the exhaust was pretty effective on getting them to back off.

Of course none of us wants to be run into, but if you are try to stay cool and get a license number.

"No, your Honor, the rudders are connected to the prop cage, and those propellers are pretty scary things too. It will all probably have to be replaced."

Des Moines Boater

We ride up above and below Alma dam.
All the way down to Iowa, and up to Wabasha, just above Alma.
We still have rights to most of it. There are some no wake areas that will be taken away from us next year do to the new Comprehensive Conservation Plan on the Mississippi.

Wow, that sounds great. Going through the locks has to be a little different. I suppose at just above idle speed you could move through without bothering other boaters. At least the blast from your prop would cool them down on hot days. I'd sure like to run my new boat up in that area, but my wife doesn't like being in the main channel on any boat.

There are a lot of backwaters above and below Alma dam.
That is where we spend most of our time.
The main channel is for the yuppies to run up and down. (large boats)
And of course for a few Walleye once in a while.

We put one of those smoke screen things outta one of the truck magazines on my buddys little s 10 when he fires that thing up youd think a dump truck was slidin sideways people backed off then

Me i just give em a brake check in my truck thinkin of a sticker for it
"If you cant stop smile as yu roll under"
