Toyota 3.0 V6 EFI build???

I have an '88 Toyota 3.0 V6 EFI engine with less then 2k miles on it and was wondering if anyone has used this engine for a build in the past. Spoke to a few airboat builders that are afraid I will run into a lot of hiccups being that most parts of designed to fit GM motors. If anyone has attempted a build with this type of motor in the past I'm interested to know what potential troubles I might encounter and ultimately if it's even worth attempting. The 3.0 was a horrible engine known as the "THREE POINT SLOW" back in the day. It also suffered head gasket failures that caused a full recall.

Sell it !
