does anybody know where i can get a new motor for a trim tab? is is worth the hassle or should i just buy a whol new unit?

What kind of unit is it? You can find a new Lenco actuator from most marine dealers from around $120-160. If you try to buy the whole kit you'll pay significantly more.

I just bought five of them with intention of selling 4 sets and keeping 1 for me. I you want a motor you can email me and I will give you my phone number. I will let one of the motors go for 115.00 brand new with long lead wires.
