tunnel hull

has anyone out there seen an airboat with a tunnel hull, kinda like a catamaran? Found one at the local airboat show and got some pics. Just wondering how well it handled?

Yeah,
I was wondering the same thim when I saw that boat at the Broward show.
That was a very interesting boat, and had alot of other ideas on it like the willow guard mounted foil.
I guess it was used to trim the boat.
I wonder how well that idea worked.

Cowboy - Got any other pictures of that boat. Would love to see a picture of the "tunnel".

Now that trim tab is something to think about. Seems like a good idea if you really were going to be moving fast.

Those pictures are in airboat4fun's member gallery. He has four or five good shots of that rig. Check it out.
I just put that one photo in the forum post for him, to help that topic along.
This boat was one of the most interesting boats at the Broward show.
It was built very sturdy, and looked like it had been around for quite a while. It did not have any information about the boat for showgoers to read, so I don't really know who owns, or built it.

Cool little boat.
