Here is a picture of a boat we built as a tribute to him, he was a FedEx truck driver, I had bought the metal and had it bent for him, sadly he passed before I got it out of the bend shop, my son actually built this under my direction to learn the trades involved in building the sleds.

That's an old school palm beach style dogleg steering. Tightest I've ever driven. Can't beat a riveted hull.

I have a riveted Hull also for right now I like it a lot. Not good for where I run though. I have mechanical steering as well and my new boat will be the same. Definently prefer mechanical over the cable.
