Dudley

It's so ironic that this thread was started: The other day the image of Col. Earny Lee and Capt. ????? came to mind. The Captain used to give the fishing report and Earny Lee used to sing while picking his guitar on the early morning show of WFLA out of Tampa. Yea, we used to get a half dozen or so channels, but Flipper and Gentle Ben were viewed in living color! (unless we at Grand Pa's house where it was B&W) :)

Here ya go Fatboy. I was born in 60 and never heard of this till you brought it up. Laughed my ass off at the memory of turning the tv antenna for the 3 stations we had in Miami....used to even have an electric motor that turned the cb antenna too...high cotton stuff...LOL!!!

In the Everglades there's a way of life
It's a way of peace without stress or strife.
There's a fellow there who protects these rights
Lincoln Vale of the Everglades.
The man on patrol in the Everglades.

But they'll fight for rights and the homes they made
Simple grass roots people of the Everglades.
There's a natural danger and the man to face
Lincoln Vale of the Everglades.
The man on patrol in the Everglades.

Movin', ever movin' through the Everglades.
Movin', ever movin' through the Everglades.
Movin', ever movin'
Movin', ever movin' through the Everglades.
