UPGRADING TO AUTOMOTIVE

I AM GOING FROM A 220 GPU TO A ZZ4 202 HEADS 30 OVER BAL N BLU PRINTED 2.3 TO 1 CH3 BELT DRIVE AND 78 INCH 3 BLADE POWER PLUS ON A 14 FT GILLEO I WAS TOLD THAT THE MOTOR WAS 440 HORSE DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANYTHING CLOSE TO THAT AND IF SO HOW WILL THE PORFORMANCE DIFFER FROM THAT OF A 220 GPU?

If its a ZZ4 its not 440 horses,they are only 355 with aluminum heads a ZZ5 with the hot cam kit makes 430.Should run pretty good though.

The major problem with the ZZ4 is the head castings are very thing and weak. If you have a big heavy boat or run a 2to1 ratio chances are you will blow head gaskets if you run it hard! However it will perform way better on the hill then a 220GPU will. You will be able to haul more weight and run dry longer!
