Wally's Gas Station

Don't know if anyone know's about it but I just found out that the young man who run's the gas station outside of Dundee (we call it Wally's) was murdered this morning in a robbery. He was a friend of airboaters who always had good fuel and cold beer and was generous with everything in his store. It really is a shame that people will stoop to the levels of depravity that they do in order to get their paws on few dirty dollar bills. I hope his family can see justice.

im sorry to here that. i find it hard to believe that in this country, in these times, some dumb ass values life so little as to kill another human being over petty cash. its pathetic. let the punishment fit the crime...times ten.

this is very sad to bad the cops are raiding the oak head and checking decible meeters rather than raiding crack houses I would bet he was not robbing to feed his family but his drug habit

Croc - I agree with that completely. Geez a helicopter and ton of people on the ground to check a bunch of airboaters. Seems like crack houses and meth labs everywhere.

Sad part is a death in an airboat accident makes front page national news while this poor man's death probably didn't make local front page news. Reporters saying we got to do something with these airboaters.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I agree but just think how safe we all are now that our numbers are properly spaced and old stickers have been removed from our boats thank god they got those things cleared up now they can investigate this mans murder and robbery

It was sad to hear about Wallys getting robbed. Pat was the mans name that ran the station, He was a great friend, and one of the nicest people you would ever meet. This morning on Bay News 9, it said that they Are looking for four(4) suspects they think that were involved, also they have a vechicle descripition, somewhere between a 2001-2005 Maroon/Burgandy GMC suv. Hopfully they will find the stupid asses who done it, and punish them in a bad way!

No, it was actually called Walleys Pit Stop, A gas station in Dundee,Florida. He was a great person to the airboaters and sold Av Gas, and Avation Oil. Pat will be greatly missed in the area.
